SIDE CHICK B£ATS WIFE FOR COMING TO HER HOUSE TO LOOK FOR HER HUSBAND
Speaking to Nananom and elders, Hon. Eric Gyamfi Odoom emphasized that his administration remains accountable to the people through their traditional leaders, reaffirming that development under his leadership will be fair, inclusive, and transparent, irrespective of political, social, or geographical considerations.
The MCE assured the chiefs that the “municipal cake” — development projects and opportunities — will be fairly distributed, with special attention given to communities facing urgent infrastructure deficits. He outlined key priority areas, including:
Improvement of road networks
Provision of potable drinking water
Expansion of electricity
Construction and rehabilitation of schools
According to the MCE, these interventions are aimed at improving livelihoods and accelerating socio-economic growth across Agona West.
As part of the tour, Hon. Eric Gyamfi Odoom, together with the Assembly’s technical team, visited Kukurantumi, Upper Bobikuma, Lower Bobikuma, Kwaman, and Agona Nyakrom, engaging residents and assessing developmental needs on the ground. He noted that governance must be felt at the grassroots, not confined to offices.
Beyond infrastructure, the MCE raised serious concerns about the growing social vices within the municipality, particularly the decline in the 2025 BECE results. He appealed to Nananom, parents, religious leaders, and opinion leaders to partner with the Assembly in instilling discipline, moral values, and academic excellence among the youth.
Hon. Eric Gyamfi Odoom concluded by reaffirming his commitment to inclusive governance, accountable leadership, and people-driven development, calling on all stakeholders to unite behind a shared vision of progress for Agona West.
