Research of Nananom in Gomoa East has proved that lack of logistics for various Police stations in Gomoa East District has increased the crime rate especially robbery activities that on the rise.
The Nananom of Gomoa East led by the Gomoa Nyanyano Zongo Chief, double as the head of Zongo Chiefs in Gomoa East District, Alhaji Issaka Giwa, is calling on the attention of authorities including all the security agencies and the government as a whole since over eight robbery cases of market women, drivers, individual etc. has been recorded between Dominase, Potsin, Dabeyin, Okyereko enclaves within three months.
Gomoa East District has over 6 Police Stations, but access to to logistics to curb the menace is a major challenge facing the security personals, making civilians leaving in fear and panic in their daily activities.
Alhaji Issaka Giwa is appealing to authorities not to have a thick skin or death ears but rather as matter of urgency provide them with the necessary logistics to as it suppose to be.
