Pharmacy Assistant / Medicine Counter Assistant. Accredited by Pharmacy Council
Diploma in Medical Laboratory Science. Accredited by Allied Health Professions Council
The applicant(s) must be any of the following
SHS or VOC/TECH graduate
Matured student
Tertiary graduate
Grade: Minimum of five (5) passes
A quota of one (1) applicant each is requested from each of the following under listed opinion leaders in the Municipal
The Assembly member of each electoral area
The Headmaster of each school / Circuit supervisor of each zone through GES Director
The Zonal Health Representative of each zone through GHS Director
The Chief of each community
The Head Pastor of each church
The Imam of each mosque
The students will have semester tutorials with CAREST COLLEGE OF HEALTH, Hohoe and will be sent back to the Agona West Municipal Health facilities of their choice through the Municipal Health Directorate for their clinical/attachments.
At the end of the courses, applicants will sit for license examination to be conducted by the Pharmacy Council of Ghana or Allied Health Professions Council of Ghana, depending on the choice of program offered.
The foundation will pay between 50% to 100% of tuition and accommodation fees, only and Parents/guardians must endeavor to pay the remaining tuition fees and accommodation fees if any during the time of report to the institution.
Parents/guardians must also endeavor to provide their wards with their transportation, feeding, personal belongings and others that may be required of them.
We are by this letter soliciting your collaboration, support and cooperation in making this mission a reality.
We also request your presence on the 16th July, 2025 at the Agona West Municipal Assembly Hall, Swedru. 3:00pm as we build confidence in the applicants.
The students will have to leave to CAREST COLLEGE OF HEALTH, Hohoe on the Wednesday, 23rd July 2025. 10am for orientation, further processing and to also start with lectures thereafter. The applicants are to also come along with all their educational documents, photocopy of any national ID card and two passport size pictures on the same date, time and venue of the meeting as found above.
