SIDE CHICK B£ATS WIFE FOR COMING TO HER HOUSE TO LOOK FOR HER HUSBAND

A woman (anonymous) has been attacked by her husband's girlfriend when she tracked the man to the lady's house. According to a relative of the victim, the woman suspecting her husband was with another lady when he told her he was not coming home that evening, trailed him to the house of a particular lady she believed he was having an affair with. The relative said the victim met the suspected lady, who told her that her husband was asleep when she asked about him. Explaining further, the relative indicated that the victim said she saw the lady opening the door all of a sudden, striking her with a stick on her face and subsequently beating her till she went into comma. The victim's in-laws are said to have visited her and pleaded that the matter be settled at home, explaining that she was at fault for going to the culprit's house without her permission. Are the in-laws right?

Statement on the Mid-Year Budget and Roads in Gomoa Central

I’ve heard some people complaining that their areas were not captured in the roads announced during the 2025 Mid-Year Budget. I’m sorry, but maybe you didn’t pay close attention.

Apart from the major strategic roads that were announced which will benefit all of us, the Finance Minister, Dr Cassiel Ato Baah Forson clearly stated that 166 constituencies, will each benefit from 10 kilometers of road construction every year. That is 6,640 kilometers of roads across the country in just four years!

There was no way the Minister was going to mention all the 166 constituencies in the speech, but the policy is clear and the commitment is firm.

Here in Gomoa Central, our top priority is clear: the Gomoa Pomadze to Gomoa Jukwa road, which is in a deplorable state and stretches just about 19km. I’m happy to report that I have formally presented this road to the government under the 10km-per-year initiative. I’m even more excited that it has been captured in the 2025 Mid-Year Budget.

In just two years, this critical road will be completed. After that, the remaining kilometers allocated to us will be channeled into constructing additional roads across the constituency including:

*Abasa Ayensuadze

*Awombrew–Nsuaem (home to The Crown Forest one of the biggest safari parks in Africa)

*Lome Road

*Akropong to Beseadze

*Afransi to Asikumah

*Afransi to Awhiafitaam

*Ekwamkrom to Manso

*Achiase to Dahom

*Akwamu to Kwame Adwer

*Dahom to Gyaman

Step by step, road by road, development is coming.

In my own small way of supporting the government, I intend to personally engage the Minister for Roads and Highways to explore the possibility of inviting qualified contractors with their own funding to construct our roads with payment structured over an agreed period.

If this is approved, we can fast-track the completion of critical road projects in Gomoa Central and ease the burden on government resources. This collaborative approach will ensure our people see real development in the shortest possible time.

If this government is given just eight years, we are looking at over 80 kilometers of new roads in Gomoa Central alone. In 12 years, Ghana will look very much like Las Vegas!I want to thank the government, especially our visionary President, John Dramani Mahama aka John "De-Light" 💡 De- Roadmaster 🛣 Dramani Mahama II, for this great initiative. Let’s all come together and rally behind the government to ensure that every plan, every program, and every project is executed to benefit the people. Because in the end, we the people are the ultimate beneficiaries.

The noise may cause a distraction, but a distraction does not change the fact! ~ Hon Kwame Asare Obeng, MP Gomoa Central.
