A woman (anonymous) has been attacked by her husband's girlfriend when she tracked the man to the lady's house. According to a relative of the victim, the woman suspecting her husband was with another lady when he told her he was not coming home that evening, trailed him to the house of a particular lady she believed he was having an affair with. The relative said the victim met the suspected lady, who told her that her husband was asleep when she asked about him. Explaining further, the relative indicated that the victim said she saw the lady opening the door all of a sudden, striking her with a stick on her face and subsequently beating her till she went into comma. The victim's in-laws are said to have visited her and pleaded that the matter be settled at home, explaining that she was at fault for going to the culprit's house without her permission. ECG Warns Against Unauthorized Transfer of Meters, Electricity Wires, and Cables – Offenders Risk Prosecution

The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) has issued a strong warning to the public regarding the unauthorized relocation or transfer of electricity meters, wires, and cables. According to the company, such acts are illegal and pose significant risks to public safety and the integrity of the power distribution system.Central Regional Public Relations Officer, Madam Esther Njorla, spoke to the media and emphasized that any individual or group found guilty of tampering with or moving ECG meters, electricity wires, or cables without proper authorization will face criminal prosecution.She stressed that electricity meters, wires, and cables are ECG property and must only be installed, relocated, or serviced by certified personnel. Unauthorized activities, she noted, often result in faults, power theft, or even electrical fires, putting lives and property at risk.Madam Njorla encouraged residents to report any suspicious activity related to meter, electricity wires, or cables transfers and urged those needing relocation services to contact ECG offices directly for proper procedures.The ECG reiterated its commitment to providing safe, reliable power and warned that it would not hesitate to take legal action against offenders.
