THEY THAT DO KNOW THEIR GOD!

Image
The first thing Elisha did after the mantle of Elijah came upon him was to part the river Jordan by striking it with the mantle of Elijah. And at that point, he said "Where is the God of Elijah?"(2 Kings 2:14). For then, he knew God as "Elijah's God". He had not known God for himself.  The same Elisha, after he had known God for himself said "send Namaan to me and he shall know that there is a prophet in Israel" (2 Kings 5:8). He was no longer shouting "Where is the God of Elijah?" Namaan's case was such that doctors could not handle it. They had done everything medical, and yet his leprosy persisted. It was a severe case of leprosy. It demanded the ministry of a man that had known God for himself and not the man that hides under a "borrowed anointing". Look through the scripture and you discover that it was only once that Elisha said "Where is the God of Elijah?" As he matured in God and got to know God the more, he ...

It was all fun until I thought she was gone in her sleep. First and last sleepover!

Image
A lady came to sleep over. I’ve known her for almost five months now. We started dating after about a month of meeting and she has actually visited me about five times already but yesterday, we agreed that she slept over because she wouldn’t go anywhere today.  As usual, we had sezz - she’s my girlfriend so of course.  We ate and while watching a movie, we both slept off. I woke up around 2:19 am. to put the laptop off and go to bed. Then it dawned on me, “what if this lady doesn’t wake up tomorrow?” I was just having random thoughts cuz I’m only 26, and this is the first time I’ve had a room of my own. I rented February this year and last night is equally the first time a woman slept over.  While these thoughts ran through my mind, I decided to wake this girl up just to see if she’s still ok. I wasn’t even going to ask her anything, I was just going to say she should sleep well.  Bro Kay, when I turned on the light, she had opened her mouth wide and her eyes weren’t...

Confidence in God’s protection and presence, even in times of fear or trouble.

Image
Psalm 27 Author: David   Theme: Confidence in God’s protection and presence, even in times of fear or trouble. Verses 1–3: Confidence in God's Protection "The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear?"   David boldly declares that God is his light (guidance), salvation (deliverance), and strength. Because of this, he has no reason to fear enemies—even if an army surrounds him. His confidence is rooted in God, not in himself. Key Point: True courage comes from trusting in God's power and presence. Verses 4–6: Desire for God’s Presence David expresses a deep longing to dwell in God’s house forever. His greatest desire isn’t safety, but closeness to God. "One thing have I desired of the Lord..." He seeks to behold the beauty of the Lord and inquire in His temple. God’s presence brings peace, joy, and security. Key Point: Prioritize spiritual intimacy over physical security. Verses 7–12: A Plea for Mercy and Guidance David shifts to a prayer, asking ...

Ghana bows in sorrow as we bid farewell to our fallen heroes 🇬🇭🕊

Image
Today, Ghana weeps. The drums are silent, the flags hang low, and the air is heavy with sorrow as we bid farewell to our fallen heroes. They were more than soldiers — they were protectors, dreamers, and pillars of courage whose sacrifices have etched their names into the heart of our nation. In this moment of national mourning, we stand united, not just in grief, but in deep gratitude for the lives they lived and the freedom they defended. The nation of Ghana stands in solemn unity as we lay to rest our fallen heroes — brave sons and daughters who gave their lives in service to our country. Under the soft shade of black and red canopies, families, friends, government officials, and citizens gathered to pay their final respects at an emotional burial service marked by tears, prayers, and heartfelt tributes. The day began with the mournful sound of drums and the solemn march of the Ghana Armed Forces. Flags flew at half-mast across the nation, a silent but powerful symbol of our collecti...

STMA Mayor, Lawyer FF Faidoo, Acts to Ease Kojokrom Road Traffic After Viral Video

Image
Following a viral video posted yesterday exposing the poor state of the Kojokrom road and the heavy traffic it caused, the Mayor of the Sekondi-Takoradi Metropolitan Assembly (STMA), Lawyer FF Faidoo, has moved quickly to tackle the problem. This morning, under the Mayor’s instructions, the Department of Urban Roads began temporary reshaping works on the affected section. The works involve dredging, grading, leveling, and filling major potholes to improve traffic flow and ease delays for commuters and residents. The Mayor personally visited the site to oversee the emergency intervention, stressing that while this is only a short-term fix, a permanent reconstruction is already being planned in collaboration with the Ministry of Roads and Highways. He also expressed gratitude to the CEO of JustMoh Company for supporting the effort by supplying a 0-40 stone base to fill damaged portions of the road.
